We closed off 2020 with an exclusive and limited edition sneaker release through the shoppable music video app DroppTV. We teamed up with DroppTV to design a completely unique pair of Air Force 1’s for A$AP TyY’s upcoming music video. These ‘Uptowns’ (as they are called in New York) could be purchased directly through the music video on the DroppTV app.

We were given the creative freedom to design an exclusive sneaker for A$AP TyY’s new music video “Who ain’t with me”, where he is seen wearing the sneakers whilst riding a quad bike through the streets of Harlem, NYC.

 

The A$AP Mob are known for having a profound fashion identity so we decided to take inspiration from 3 things; TyY as a creative artist, his merchandise, and the style and influence of the A$AP Mob.

The customised sneakers are shown throughout the video, drawing attention to the infamous streetwear style of the Mob. We were fortunate enough to have been featured in publications such as Forbes and Geek Spin for this unique collaboration.
